Learn how to make cucumber shots at home! With the quarantine, we suddenly had plenty of time on our hands and experimented with different recipes. After buying a couple of the new Ingwer shots, we finally decided to try ourselves. We were looking for homemade shots that allowed us to use some of the vegetables we grew in our garden. Since the cucumbers were already rape, and there was way too many, we needed a recipe that kept us away from eating cucumber salad every day for the next weeks—that challenge we already had with our tomatoes and solved it with a delicious Roasted Tomato Soup.
Below you will find a healthy, refreshing, and easy recipe on how to make cucumber shots at home. Besides cucumber, the shot consists of spices and herbs such as cilantro, basil, lime, and garlic. We have enjoyed it as the perfect detox drink after one of the long nights at weddings in the past weeks. The nutrition facts are outstanding, with 10g of protein, 12mg iron, and 344mg calcium.
If you are more into cucumber shots with alcohol, you can give it a try and add some vodka on top. Alternatively, you can also try this great recipe for Cucumber Vodka shots. 😉
Please try it yourself and let us know in the comments on how it went.
